Mary, Paul & Maggie are rallying together to support our brother, Mike Piveronas.

On March 9th, Mike was in a serious head on collision where he sustained multiple injuries that affect many parts of his body including hip, chest, vision and a foot. After 12 days of hospitalization, Mike now requires months of additional medical care, physical therapy & recuperation. To support Mike during this time, we are raising money to cover ongoing medical expenses, modifications to his home, & every day expenses for at least 6 months and eventually another vehicle.

Mike has a tremendous love of travel, adventure, nature, animals and is an incredible photographer. Self-taught and self-funded he has traveled to 28 countries around the world photographing its people, its unique cultures and subtleties. He is also a self-taught archer, placing or winning tournaments around New England. Mike’s creativity can also be seen in his cooking, writing and as a musician. Mike has many professional talents and his trade specialty is earth plaster. One of his recent projects is a luxury A-Frame that was featured in the December ’23 issue of Down East Magazine.

If you know Mike, then you know he is very strong, resilient and focused on his return to normalcy. Throughout his life, Mike has always been the first to lend a hand to family, friends or strangers & now he is need of your help. Here is an example that our mom just shared & that we never knew because of Mike’s humble nature. Mike once met an exhausted Appalachian Trail hiker near his home. Mike took him in and gave food, a place to rest & some of his own clothes and camping gear before helping him return to the AT.
