Help Support Michael Pavlo’s Long-Term Care
Michael and Laura Pavlo’s journey is one of faith, love, and resilience. Through every challenge, they have trusted the Lord, facing both good times and hardships with unwavering faith.
Recently, their lives changed dramatically when Mike was diagnosed with Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML), a rare, fatal brain disease.
Initially, the prognosis was that Mike had only months to live, so Hospice was brought on board. He miraculously survived the virus; however, due to widespread demyelination of his brain, he has dementia with severe cognitive and neurological disability requiring long-term around-the-clock care.
The Pavlos are facing a very challenging road ahead. Insurance will not cover Mike’s ongoing care. Laura is now looking into selling their home to help with the financial burden. Despite all of this, they continue to trust God’s plan and remain a blessing to those around them. Even with the progression of PML, Mike continues to pray for his wife, doctors, and caregivers.
Laura and Mike would never ask for help themselves. This fundraiser was created by myself to give others the opportunity to support them during this difficult season. Any gift is a blessing, and if you can’t give, please pray for Laura as she takes on full-time care of Mike and makes important healthcare and financial decisions. Please share this fundraiser so we can bless Laura and Mike and show God’s love to them. Laura shared that 2 Corinthians 12:9 has been her source of strength and endurance: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Let us help them continue their testimony unhindered so they may continue to be a blessing to others! †
