Support Mike Mendoza's Critical Recovery

Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to share the story of Mike Mendoza, a vibrant 34-year-old who recently faced a life-threatening situation. On Tuesday, April 8th, Mike was rushed to the hospital by paramedics and later airlifted to Phoenix for emergency heart surgery.

After the surgery, we learned that Mike's condition was more serious than we initially thought. He had an aortic dissection that required repair of his aorta, along with a bypass and valve repair. We were informed that Mike experienced cardiac arrest during both the helicopter ride and the operating room. Tragically, we received the news that he may suffer from brain damage and is showing signs of significant kidney damage.

While Mike is a fighter and is currently in recovery, the road ahead will be challenging. The surgery was necessary to save his life, but it also comes with substantial medical expenses and unexpected costs.

The medical bills are bound to start piling up, and Mike's family is facing the financial burden of hospital stays, medications, and follow-up treatments. Additionally, he will need ongoing care and rehabilitation to regain his strength and return to everyday life. Mike may require additional surgery down the road. This situation has also taken a toll on his family; he misses precious time with his boys, Easton and Weston, who dearly miss their dad. Easton is currently missing school during this difficult time. Sahreena, Mike's wife, is also missing work to care for Mike and their boys, which adds to their financial strain.

We are seeking your support to help alleviate some of these burdens. No contribution is too small, and every dollar counts. Your generosity will go directly toward:
- Hospital bills and medical expenses
- Medications and therapies
- Transportation costs for follow-up appointments
- Day-to-day living expenses during recovery

A Note from Sahreena:
"Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am grateful for your support, love, and prayers. I miss having my family together at home, my dogs, and my job—which I am very passionate about. Easton misses his teachers, friends, and baseball, which was something very special to both Mike and him. Weston misses his daddy, but we have faith in God. Your kindness and prayers help me focus on healing so I can return to the life I cherish. Thank you for your support."
