Mike Loy is a talented musician, and a father of three. When he is not working, he is taking on other projects to benefit his family, and add to the community of LeClaire , where his family lives. . Mike fell while restoring the ceiling of his old church in LeClaire  , and dropped  about 15 feet to the floor.

Everyone who knows him is so relieved he survived this fall, and will recover from this . But he  has suffered great injuries including a serious concussion,  two broken wrists, a broken jaw, skull fractures, multiple facial fractures, and a minor fracture in his spine.  He has undergone surgery to rebuild his jaw, and will have surgery on both wrists.  Many tests, x-rays, and CT scans have been required, and took two ambulance rides because he was transferred to Iowa City.  Once he leaves the hospital , he will also have regular follow up appointments  to make sure he is healing as expected.

Now Mike and his family are not only facing the long road to his physical recovery ahead, but  also the incredible expenses that go along with such a severe accident.  His wife Ally's full time job is being an amazing mother to their 3 children, so Mike is the sole income provider for the family.  He also does not have medical insurance to cover any of  the hospital bills. Since he  will not be able to get back to work for some time,  there will be no money coming in to support his family or to put towards the huge medical bills that are still being added to. 

Please help make sure this family's  main concern is not money, but is what is most important.....Mike's recovery.
