Help Mike Rebuild His Life

Hi, my name is Kristin, and I'm raising funds for my friend Mike Rose — one of the kindest, most easygoing people you’ll ever meet. Mike has had a tough few years, but he’s been working hard to get his life back on track. He was finally starting to gain some stability when everything was suddenly taken from him.

A few days ago, a fire broke out in the house where Mike was renting a room. The blaze destroyed several rooms, including his — and with it, nearly all of his belongings. Mike didn’t have renters insurance, and because he didn’t have a formal lease or contract, he has no legal recourse to recover the value of what he lost.

He’s lost:

All of his clothing

Important documents

Keys and titles to his vehicles

Sentimental and personal items

And so much more, some of it irreplaceable

Mike is now left with nothing but the clothes on his back. He’s trying to stay hopeful, but starting over from scratch is incredibly overwhelming — especially without a financial safety net.

We’re hoping to raise enough money to help Mike cover:

Basic necessities (clothes, food, toiletries)

Temporary housing or relocation help

Replacing critical documents and vehicle access

Starting over with essential furniture and supplies
