Last October, Mike's life took a drastic turn when he survived a heart attack and pneumonia, leading to emergency dialysis. His health has been declining since mid-2023, with worsening edema and daily activities becoming increasingly difficult. Now, he endures grueling dialysis sessions three times a week, each lasting four to five hours, and battles constant fatigue due to low hemoglobin levels.

Despite these overwhelming challenges, Mike's spirit remains unbroken. He has always been a positive hopeful. He used to juggle a full-time job, parenting his four children, and caring for his grandchild. His sociable nature has made every moment with him delightful, turning any gathering into a celebration. Mike's family is desperate to help him regain his health. He needs funds for ongoing dialysis treatments and the critical workups required for a kidney transplant, which we hope can happen within this year. Your generous support will help cover the costs of his medications, dialysis treatments, and essential expenses related to his kidney transplant. Kidney transplant in the Philippines is a difficult situation, costing approximately 3 million pesos or US $50k.
