On behalf of Mike, Jen, and the entire Gallagher family, we want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who donated, shared, and sent their love and support through this fundraiser and on social media.

The generosity you've shown has helped pay down a portion of the rapidly growing medical debt, giving Mike and Jen some much-needed breathing room as they navigate this incredibly difficult journey.

While Mike still has a long road ahead, and the cost of quality care from a Lyme-literate doctor remains high, your support—both individually and collectively—has helped lift part of that burden.

Mike and Jen have asked that we now close this fundraiser. They are deeply grateful for what’s been given and feel it’s time to conclude the campaign. You'll notice that the fundraiser, while still active, is no longer taking donations. Please know that all funds have been direct deposited into their personal account.

From me personally: thank you. Every single person who donated to my brother Mike has touched my heart. Mike is my big brother and protector, and seeing him suffer like this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever witnessed. It was my pleasure to organize this fundraiser and your kindness, your words, and your willingness to rally around him have brought warmth and hope to our entire family.

Mike and Jenny have always been a source of light in our community, sharing their love of music and kindness with everyone around them. Married for 29 years, they have faced more than their share of challenges, but nothing could have prepared them for the health battles of the past few years. Jenny was diagnosed with Cushing’s and Addison’s disease, enduring multiple surgeries—including brain surgery—and continues to travel to New York City for specialist care. Just as she began to recover, Mike’s health took a sudden turn. In the spring of 2025, Mike began to struggle with memory loss and other severe neurological symptoms. After many doctor visits and hospital stays, he received a diagnosis of Neurological Lyme Disease. This illness has left him unable to work and, they recently found out that they lost their health coverage.

The financial strain on Mike and Jenny is overwhelming. Their monthly medical bills are mounting, and essential treatments like Mike’s PICC line are not covered by insurance. On top of that, they are struggling to keep up with everyday living expenses. The emotional toll has been just as heavy. Mike is largely homebound, struggling with mental health challenges, due to the Lyme disease in his brain. He is unable to play music—the passion that once brought him so much joy, or spend time with extended family or friends. Jenny is working tirelessly to care for Mike while managing her own recovery, and the stress has left them both isolated from those that they love and the music they love to create together.

Your support will help cover medical bills, ongoing treatments, specialist visits, and basic living expenses.
