Mike has been relocated to the rehabilitation ward at the Victoria General Hospital.  Rehab has been going well for Mike, and he continues to make improvements.  It is hoped that Mike will be able to be discharged from the hospital and head home in mid-September.  

In order for this to happen and as a result of the paraplegia, there are a number of modifications that are required for Mike’s house.  Fitting out of his bathroom, addition of ramps to the front and back of his house, repair and installation of pathways are a few of the upgrades.  Mike will also require a power wheelchair, specialized recliner and vehicle modifications.

 We are all very inspired by Mike’s determination to overcome this injury and kindly ask if you can provide a donation to help Mike and his family with the cost of renovations and alterations that are required to get him home, continue his recovery and enable him to enjoy a comfortable quality of life going forward.
