Back in September 2024, my dad, Mike, underwent a Whipple procedure after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. This past June, we received the difficult news that the tumors had returned. Despite the setback, his medical team remains hopeful, and Dad is now courageously diving into aggressive treatment with determination and grit.

His journey has had its ups and downs, but one thing has never wavered—his spirit. Even during a tough hospital stay through most of July, Dad was handing out Jolly Ranchers and Lifesavers to nurses from his personal stash, just like always—spreading smiles wherever he goes.
