Hi everyone,
I am reaching out on behalf of my uncle Michael, who recently suffered a serious medical emergency. After struggling with ongoing heart issues, like AFib, Michael unexpectedly suffered from a stroke this week. Michael was airlifted from Doylestown hospital to University of Pennsylvania Hospital.
The stroke, caused by a blood clot in the heart that Michael suffered has caused partial loss of feeling and movement to his left arm, especially his hand. Because of this he has a long road of rehabilitation and recovery ahead of him.
If you know Michael then you know he is one of the most active and hardworking people out there. He loves teaching ski lessons and working with the beach patrol, and because of his condition right now, we do not know when he will be able to return to work, but it will take some time. Between medical bills, travel costs and lost income, the financial strain is significant.
We are hoping to raise about $25,000 to help cover these medical expenses, rehabilitation and day-to-day needs while he focuses on healing. Any donation will make a difference. No matter how big or small, if you are willing to give, please consider sharing this page or sending messages of support for Michael.
Thank you for helping.
With gratitude,
Michaels friends and family
