Support Mike's Fight Against Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM)

I am writing on behalf of an exceptional individual, Mike Cotterman. Mike has dedicated over 20 years as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Wyoming, impacting the lives of countless athletes through his expertise and commitment. He has devoted significant time and energy to enhancing the strength, endurance, and overall athletic performance of those he coaches, but now he is needing your help!

Currently, Mike is confronting a formidable challenge due to an autoimmune disorder known as inclusion body myositis (IBM). This condition is characterized by progressive muscle weakness and atrophy, and regrettably, Mike's symptoms are advancing at an unprecedented rate. He and his wife, Gwen, are facing difficulties managing their financial obligations and mounting medical expenses. Specifically, Mike requires essential adaptations including a wheelchair, a bathroom remodel to accommodate a zero-entry shower, a wheelchair-accessible ramp, and a vehicle that can support his mobility needs. To ensure he can continue his professional responsibilities, it is imperative that he maintains the ability to commute safely and independently.
