Support Mike & Colten's upcoming Guatemala Mission Trip

Dear Friend in Christ,

I am excited to tell you about my son Colten and my opportunity to serve as missionaries for Jesus Christ in Guatemala this summer. We are going with a team from EastLake Community Church at Smith Mountain Lake and Riverview Baptist Church in Giles County.

We are fulfilling the Great Commission by sharing God’s word, as we minister to local Guatemalan residents through service. We will be serving in ministries such as Happy Tummies where hungry children will be fed a nutritious meal they would not otherwise have and also in the Abuelitos ministry, where special attention is given to older people so they can feel the love of Christ. Through love spread to all ages, the people of Guatemala will see Christ firsthand. There will be many opportunities to share the gospel as we also will serve with home visits, prayer walks, and assist with a Pastor’s Conference.

This unique opportunity calls for support in prayer. First, I ask that you help bathe our team in prayer as we travel to Guatemala. Next, I ask for a financial partnership. You may not be able to go on a mission trip, but by partnering with our team, you can make this trip possible and help win souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and fulfil the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20).
