Mike and Christine Morales Lost Home and Work Truck in Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,
On the night of Saturday, January 11, tragedy struck the Morales family. Mike and Christine lost their home, the home Mike built from the ground up, and Mike’s work truck to a devastating structure fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but they are now faced with the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.
Mike has been an integral part of the Durango community, especially the racquetball community in Colorado and New Mexico, for well over 40 years. Those of us who know Mike know he is a kind and generous soul and that he is always the first person to jump in and help anyone in need. Now Mike and his wife need our help. The fire claimed not only their home and possessions but also Mike’s work truck, a critical part of his livelihood.
We are asking for your support to help them get back on their feet. Funds raised will go toward:
• Temporary housing and daily living expenses
• Replacing essential belongings lost in the fire
• Assisting Mike in replacing his work truck and work supplies so he can continue to provide for his family
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
Let’s come together to support Mike and Christine during this challenging time. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
With gratitude,
Dena Morrissey and all of Mike and Christine's Friends
