We are Mike and Sharon Brown. My husband is a private, independent person who doesn’t ask for help. In fact, he’s always helping others and looks for nothing in return.
On November 16, 2025, I rushed my husband to the emergency room because he was experiencing excruciating pain. Little did we know, his kidneys were shutting down. After several tests, X-rays, and an MRI, he was admitted. They later started emergency dialysis on him. After several biopsies, Multiple Myeloma was confirmed. Now he’s receiving chemo. A small nodule was also detected in his lung that was later diagnosed as adenocarcinoma. Doctors will give him radiation therapy for that. He’s had a couple of stokes and will need rehab with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to help him to gain strength and mobility. After nearly two months of being in the hospital, you can imagine the huge influx of bills that are flooding our mailbox. Unfortunately, with the constant amendments to insurance, the coverage just doesn’t cover everything. I’ve never had to consider hosting a GoFundMe; but now I understand the need. If you find it in your heart to help, it will truly be a blessing, and we will be very grateful. Many blessings!
