Hi, my name is Karlie and I am Mike’s neighbor. I'm helping with a go fund me for Mike, so Michele can be with Mike on his journey to recovery. On Tuesday, August 19th, Mike Bowers was working on a vehicle when it suddenly caught fire. He suffered severe burns and had to be rushed to UC Davis Burn Center, where he is now fighting through an incredibly painful recovery.

Mike will be in the hospital for the next 3 to 4 months as he undergoes treatments and surgeries. He has a very long road ahead, but if you know Mike, you know he’s a fighter with the biggest heart.

Right now, we want to help take away as much of the financial stress as possible so Mike can focus on healing. The funds raised will go toward his medical bills, travel expenses for family, and everyday life bills while he is unable to work.

Mike has always been the kind of person to show up for others—whether it’s helping a friend, lending a hand in the community, or just being someone you can count on. Now it’s our turn to be there for him.
