Hello friends,

My name is Michael Graham, I go by Mike. I work in ND as a professional driver for our company Providence Transport LLC.

As everyone has seen in the past few days, my island home Jamaica has been partially devastated by Hurricane Melissa. I have not confirmed the conditions or whereabouts of several family members who are located in the hardest-hit areas of the island and am extremely concerned about their well-being. My family and I with our business Providence Transport LLC have created this funding for those who are concerned and feel impressed to help the recovery efforts on the island.

We are already personally getting supplies and food together in preparation for flying in and being a part of the recovery efforts for several months ahead. If you are led to help, we would be happy for your generosity, however large or small it is. We will be posting regularly on our activities so you can see what we're up to and how your contributions are making a change in the lives of Jamaicans.

What will your funding help with:

Purchasing of food, clothing, equipment, emergency, and daily living supplies

Maintenance costs for equipment and tools that will be used in recovery efforts

Transportation to and from affected areas to recovery sites on the island

Aid in temporary housing for the most vulnerable persons

Getting help to rural communities who are hardest hit and the last to get assistance in most emergencies.

Accommodations, food and supplies for volunteers
