Mike and Shannon Nusser have been pillars of the Plumstead Christian School and South Ridge Community Church communities for years. Shannon has faithfully served as the Middle and Upper School Principal for the past twelve years, guiding and caring for countless students and families. Together, she and Mike have poured their hearts into their church and have touched many lives through their dedication and service.

Tragically, in the early hours of the morning, a devastating fire destroyed their entire home and both of their vehicles. While we are deeply grateful that Mike and Shannon were able to escape safely, they lost everything except the clothes they were wearing. As they face the aftermath of this total loss, they are in urgent need of support for immediate essentials—clothing, food, and other daily necessities—while they wait for insurance settlements to come through. As far as housing goes, they are safe and cared for at Shannon's brother's home for at least the month of January, although they will need long-term temporary housing after this as they demolish and rebuild.

Our spiritual theme at Plumstead Christian School this year is 'love in action.' Now is our chance to put that love into practice by rallying around the Nusser family.
