Support Mike and Kate Hamilton Through Cancer

Hi, I am Georgia, Kate Hamilton's dearest friend. Today I have the hard job of sharing with you that recently, Mike was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer called Non-Smokers Lung Cancer.

I am a huge believer in the power of miracles and that there is a great possibility that Mike could have a full recovery; 4th stage cancer has been known to go into remission, and anything is possible.

That being said, the prognosis from Dr.'s is not a great one and suggests that Mike could have as few as six weeks- 2 years of life left.

This is a devasting potential for the whole family. I don't really even know where to begin with regard to this great loss. My heart aches for them.

Mike is the main breadwinner of the family, and this puts Kate and her son in a very serious situation since Mike is no longer able to work. There is a mortgage and bills to be paid, and with Kate home to care for Mike and then endure the potential loss of her partner, best friend, and father of her son, it's all a lot to consider financially today and in the year to come.

They need our support, as much as we can possibly offer, so that this next year can see Kate and Mike's son safely staying in their home, bills paid, grief counseling for them, and expenses for honoring Mike's life in case of the worst scenario.

Please hold this beautiful family close in your hearts. Pray there is a miracle. Trust anything is possible and give generously, as this is going to be such an incredibly difficult time for all of them.
