Support Mike and Jenny After Devastating Fire

Over the weekend, our brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Jenny Jessee, suffered the devastating loss of their business, Dee-Jay's Custom Butchering, due to a fire that consumed the entire building, bringing it to ruins. This dire loss is felt most deeply by Mike and Jenny and their family, but it's also a great loss for Fredericktown as well. Dee-Jay's has been an upstanding pillar of the community and an integral business in Knox County for a long time. The Jessees have given so much of themselves to their business and provided a worthwhile and important service to their community and all around Ohio for over three decades. With your help, we'd like to support Mike and Jenny through this incredibly trying time. We thank you for any amount you are willing to donate to them and this cause. We also appreciate your continued compassion and prayers as they look toward the future.

We want to thank the Fredericktown Community Fire District for their quick response to the fire at Dee-Jay's early Saturday morning.

Dee-Jay’s Custom Butchering and Processing has been at its home in Fredericktown, Ohio since 1978.

In 1993, Dee-Jay’s was bought from its original owner by Mike and Jenny Jessee. They have since been joined by their daughter, Dorinda (Jessee) Kline, and her husband, Jeff Kline. They love doing what they do, and they are extremely proud of their smoked meats and bacon.

Since 1993, Dee-Jay’s Custom Butchering and Processing has been awarded a number of Grand and Reserve Grand Champion awards by the Ohio Association of Meat Processors.
