In just over a year, Mike and Jamie have endured more than most families face in a lifetime.
In March 2024, Mike received the devastating diagnosis of stage IV four colon cancer and began chemotherapy that May — a battle he courageously continues today. While standing beside him through treatment, Jamie’s own health quietly collapsed.
In June 2025, Jamie received shocking news of her own — an MRI revealed a meningioma brain tumor. Just weeks later, on August 5, 2025, Jamie underwent brain surgery.
Weeks of inpatient rehabilitation followed as she fought to relearn walking, dexterity, strength and balance. Her paychecks stopped in October. Savings disappeared. Bills kept coming.
Just as Jamie was starting to heal, tragedy struck again. In November 2025, she fell and broke her right hip, undoing much of her hard-won progress and plunging them deeper into uncertainty.
As of January 31, 2026, Jamie lost her health insurance, but she continues to heal from brain surgery and a broken hip, and Mike is still receiving chemotherapy.
Through it all, Mike and Jamie have shown incredible resilience, strength, and grace.
They are facing overwhelming medical expenses, lost income, and an uncertain future — all while trying to survive physically, financially and emotionally.
They are exhausted. They are scared. And they need help now.
We are asking for support to ease the financial burden of medical expenses, mortgage payments and other basic living expenses, so both of them can focus on healing without the constant fear of how they’ll make ends meet.
Please give if you can. Please share if you can’t. Your support could make the difference during the most difficult time of their lives.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of their support system during the hardest chapter of their lives.
