Hello all, I am reaching out for support for my brother, Mike Allen, who was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) localized in his throat. Mike has begun treatment with extensive dental work and soon will be undergoing intense treatment and recovery for the next five months.

I am starting this GoFundMe page to put together a fund to help pay for his living expenses while he undergoes treatment and recovery. He will be sidelined from working for at least six months. Mike works as a builder/carpenter, which is very physical work that will be a challenge to engage in until he regains his strength.

Mike is a warm, fun loving guy with a great sense of humor. He is deeply loved by Shelley and I, his son Zack, daughter Maddy, many friends and family. If you are able to contribute a bit to this fund (any amount is valued) we would all very much appreciate it! Thank you very much from all of us.
