Mike has been my best friend since 2013, and we met shortly after I lost my mom. Through every up and down, Mike has always been there for me—no matter what I needed, he never hesitated to offer his support. His loyalty and kindness have touched not just my life, but the lives of so many others who know him. Now, I want to be there for him in his time of need.
Recently, Mike experienced a sudden and devastating loss of vision due to complications from diabetes and narrow angle glaucoma. Multiple surgeries, near daily visits to the optometrist, and so many prescription eye drops, and nothing has helped much. This life-changing event has turned his world upside down, and he is now facing the enormous challenge of adjusting to a life with little or no sight. The transition has been overwhelming, and Mike is working hard to adapt while also dealing with the stress of mounting medical bills and the need for specialized accessibility tools. On top of that, he’s navigating the complicated process of applying for government support and programs for the blind, which can take time and leave him without the resources he needs right now.
I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Mike as he faces these challenges. Your donation will go directly toward his medical expenses, essential tools for daily living, and basic needs while he works to regain his independence. Mike has always been the first to help others, and now it’s our turn to make sure he’s taken care of in his hour of need. Any support you can give will mean the world to both of us. Thank you for being part of Mike’s journey.
