Mike and I have been together for 30 years, sharing a life full of love and support. On Sunday, March 1st, 2026, everything changed when Mike suffered a devastating stroke. Now, his only way to communicate is by blinking his eyes, but he is fully aware of what is happening around him. It breaks my heart to see him like this, and I feel completely lost.

We never expected to be in this situation. Mike has no insurance, no life insurance, and no savings to fall back on. Just last month, we bought a used car and made our first payment, hoping for a fresh start. Now, the bills are piling up—medical expenses, daily living costs, mortgage, utilities, and the car payment. We have always lived paycheck to paycheck, relying on my social security, which isn’t much. I can only cover a portion of these expenses on my own.
