Hello everyone! My name is Mikayla Smith. I am 21 years old and currently pursuing my associated degree in biology. I have recently been given the opportunity to attend a Veterinary Assisting program at Carrington College. This program starts in June and lasts for 9 months. Unfortunately, since this is a private college, I cannot receive a fee waiver like I have for Community College. I can receive my Federal Pell Grant still but it only covers a portion of my tuition for this school. I am currently looking for a job but as many of you know the job market is terrible right now. I would really love to be able to take this opportunity to help me advance my career. Anything helps and I really appreciate everyone’s support!! Thank you!
