On the early morning of 3.15.25, heaven gained the most beautiful angel. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news our beloved Mikayla Sims has sadly passed away from her 8 month battle with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer.

At 30 years young, Mikayla left a lasting legacy. Her greatest accomplishment was being a wife to her husband Mark, and the absolute best mother to her children Levi (9) and Lita (2). Mikayla's family meant everything to her. They were her greatest source of love and strength. In addition, she was a cherished daughter and sister. Mikayla was an artistic soul, she made a successful career for herself as a talented cosmetologist at Luxe Hair Lounge. She had a passion for making others feel beautiful and confident, always lifting up others around her. No one could have asked for a better friend than her. Mikayla's presence brought comfort, laughter, and understanding. She was truly a light in the lives of all who knew her.
