Hello!

My name is Mikayla Jette, and I have 2 passions in this life–performing and my faith. In 2005, I started dancing. In 2013, I started performing in musicals. In 2018, I went on my first pilgrimage. In 2024, I started preaching at the National Eucharistic Congress. It is in this journey that I have discovered my authentic story and unique path to serving Christ. I have found that faith and performance go hand in hand, and my future can be a bridge of passion and love for creation.

This all being said, post-graduation at Marian University in May 2025, I was accepted into the National Theatre Institute for their Musical Theatre Fall Semester. This training will reach the holes I found in my undergrad education and give me the tools to take the next step in my theatrical career. Throughout the semester, I will perform in shows, take classes, participate in workshops, and live in community with like-minded individuals striving for similar goals to my own.

While I am thrilled to dive into this heightened training, it is a major financial commitment and one to be acquired in a short amount of time as the program starts in September. I am looking to raise $23,000 in total for tuition to NTI and would appreciate any and all support you are willing to offer. While this GoFundMe only hosts a smaller goal, I have 2 other options to participate in making a donation to support my training. I will be holding a Cabaret Showcase and am hosting a Dance-a-thon style prep period leading up to the showcase. More to come on this, so check in for updates!!
