Support Mika’s Crash Recovery

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for support. In the early morning of April 21, tragedy struck and Mika was involved in a motorcycle accident. Before her accident, Mika was informed that a close friend of hers had passed away on his ride home. She had just been with him a hour before at a restaurant. She was headed to meet with other close friends to the accident. Though she was devastated to hear the news, she got herself together before getting on the bike. She approached a right hand turn, lost traction running over a puddle, and wrecked into a ditch. She laid there at 3:30am with no way to contact help for over 15 minutes, suffering. Officers concluded speed was not a factor in this accident. While at the ER, she’s been nothing but smiles and thankful for all the good wishes and prayers.

Yesterday's accident was a sudden and unexpected event. The impact was severe, causing the need for surgery on a dislocated elbow, multiple arm fractures, a broken finger, and a fractured knee.
