My mom recently underwent heart surgery and numerous other procedures and has been in a rehab facility recovering. As she prepares to return home, we’ve realized her apartment needs a full cleaning and organizing before it’s safe and comfortable for her to return home.

She has been in hospital and rehab for nearly two months and is not physically able to take care of this herself, and I’m unfortunately unable to handle it on my own. She had also been in the middle of a few home projects before her medical emergency, so things were left unfinished and now need to be safely put back into order.

Our family is doing everything we can to support her, and we’re reaching out for additional help during this time.

We’re raising funds to help cover a professional cleaning and basic organizing so she can return to a clean, safe environment as she continues her recovery. In addition, during the early stages of recovery, she won’t be able to cook regularly, so support will also help cover prepared meals while she regains her strength. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated as Mikaela continues her path to recovery.
