Miguel is a hardworking father, teacher, and provider who has continued showing up for others even while battling Stage 4 kidney disease. Recently, he was hospitalized for several days with both Covid and the flu, adding even more strain to an already difficult health journey. Because of multiple hospitalizations this year, Miguel exhausted his sick leave, and his paycheck was cut in half. Now, while trying to recover physically, he is also facing an eviction notice and is struggling to keep up with his rent and car payment.
