Miguel Mathis is a good friend and a true servant to our community. He’s the kind of person who lives out his faith through service—always ready to lend a hand to his church, his neighbors, friends, and family. Recently, Miguel suffered a severe arm injury that will keep him from working for 6 to 12 weeks. As a school bus driver for Atkins, he only has 5 days of sick pay and had to waive accident insurance when he started the job. On top of that, Miguel also works a second job that requires physical labor, which he won’t be able to do while he heals.
This unexpected injury means Miguel will be without his normal wages for several weeks, making it difficult to cover living expenses. He’s always been the first to help others in need, and now he’s facing a challenging time himself. Any contribution to this fundraiser will go directly toward helping Miguel manage his living expenses while he recovers.
Every gift, prayer, and act of kindness is deeply appreciated. Thank you for taking a moment to read, share, or donate—your generosity and compassion truly make a difference and are a beautiful reflection of faith in action.
