“Support Miguels Journey to Teach Music”

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Betsy Bermudez and I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting my son, Miguel Rodriguez Bermudez, a passionate young musician with a big dream — to own and play a baritone saxophone.

Baritone saxophones are expensive instruments, and unfortunately, it’s not something we’re able to afford on our own.

Music has been Miguel’s safe space; he calls it an escape from reality during a tough childhood. Ever since the fifth grade, Miguel had a dream to one day graduate from Arts High School. On June 24, 2025, Miguel completes his dream by graduating from Arts High School and being granted a contract to come back as a NBOE Music Teacher, once he completes his college requirements. Yet, despite all his progress, Miguel still doesn’t have a baritone saxophone of his own — a crucial tool for his craft and career.

Please help us support Miguel in reaching his full potential. He’s worked so hard to get where he is, and now he just needs the right instrument to carry his passion forward.
