Support Miguel's Fight Against CVST

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m starting this fundraiser for my boyfriend, Miguel Deleon.

For over a year, Miguel pushed through severe headaches, fatigue, and unexplained pain — continuing to work and live life as normally as he could without any clear answers. It wasn’t until recently that he was finally diagnosed with Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis (CVST) — a rare and serious condition where a blood clot forms in the veins of the brain.

CVST can cause intense headaches, vision problems, fatigue, and in severe cases, seizures or stroke. For Miguel, it has meant daily pain, frequent hospital visits, and now being unable to work while managing a complex treatment plan.

Most people have never even heard of CVST, but it turns life completely upside down. It’s taken a serious toll on Miguel’s health and left us in a really difficult financial position. He currently has union insurance, but that coverage ends in August — so we’re trying to prepare for what comes next.

Donations will go directly toward co-pays, doctor visits, and the medications he needs to manage this condition, as well as basic living expenses while he’s out of work. If needed, funds may also help cover medical care after insurance ends.
