My name is Carolina Mudoy, and I’m humbly asking for your help on behalf of my husband, Miguel Roberto Núñez Perez—a man whose quiet strength, dark sense of humor, and boundless kindness have touched so many lives.

Miguel is not only my partner in life but a loving father, devoted brother, fun uncle, and a true friend to many. As the manager of his Caribou Coffee store, Miguel became a daily source of laughter and warmth—beloved by his employees and cherished by regular customers who looked forward to his jokes and kindness each morning. His absence from work is deeply felt by everyone who knows him.

What started as a severe case of pneumonia turned into something much more devastating. After a series of tests following heart failure symptoms, Miguel was diagnosed with multiple myeloma—a rare and serious form of blood cancer. It was a shocking and heartbreaking discovery that has turned our lives upside down.

In order to receive the best and most accurate treatment, Miguel urgently needs specialized testing and ongoing care, some of which are not fully covered by insurance. Additionally, we are facing significant financial strain due to lost wages, as I’ve had to step away from work to care for him during this critical time.

Mi nombre es Carolina Mudoy, y con el corazón en la mano, les pido ayuda en nombre de mi esposo, Miguel Roberto Núñez Pérez—un hombre noble, de gran corazón y un sentido del humor oscuro que siempre arranca sonrisas a quienes lo rodean.

Miguel es un esposo amoroso, un padre dedicado, un hermano y tío muy querido, y un amigo leal. Como gerente de su tienda Caribou Coffee, se ganó el cariño de sus empleados y de cada cliente habitual que pasaba por un café y una buena broma. Su ausencia se siente profundamente entre quienes lo conocen.

Para que Miguel reciba el mejor tratamiento posible, necesita pruebas especializadas y cuidados que no están totalmente cubiertos por el seguro. Además, estamos enfrentando una difícil situación económica por la pérdida de ingresos, ya que he tenido que dejar de trabajar para poder cuidarlo.
