Support Miguel on his road to recovery

On December 24th 2022, Miguel and his family were traveling to their home town Albuquerque New Mexico to spend Christmas with family. Unfortunately on the way there near Pueblo Colorado their vehicle was struck by another car who is believed to be under the influence at the time. The impact caused their vehicle to flip several times. During the accident Miguel was ejected from the vehicle and suffered several wounds including very serious head injuries that caused internal bleeding in his brain. Miguel was transported to Colorado springs hospital in a helicopter and was admitted to surgery right away. He was in the ICU for over a month with a count of 5 surgeries and an induced coma. He is now back home in Aurora Colorado receiving lots of therapy for his recovery at children’s hospital. He is still in need of one last surgery in his head before getting to go home. Miguel is a fighter that loves sports like volleyball and soccer. He also enjoys friends, school and is eager to get back. Funds will be used for medical bills and expenses for everyone affected in the accident. Anything is appreciated. God bless and thank you!

 El 24 de diciembre de 2022, Miguel y su familia viajaban an Albuquerque, Nuevo México, para pasar la Navidad en familia. Desafortunadamente, en el camino cerca de Pueblo Colorado, su vehículo fue golpeado por otro conductor en la carretera, lo que provocó que el vehículo volcara varias veces. Durante el accidente, Miguel salió expulsado del vehículo y sufrió varias heridas, incluidas lesiones muy graves en la cabeza que le provocaron una hemorragia interna en el cerebro. Miguel fue transportado al hospital de Colorado Springs en un helicóptero y fue ingresado para cirugía de inmediato. Estuvo en la cuidado intensivo por más de un mes con un conteo de 5 cirugías y coma inducido. Ahora está de regreso en en Aurora Colorado internado en el children’s hospital recibiendo mucha terapia para su recuperación y ocupando una última cirugía. Para poder volver a casa en aproximadamente 6 semanas. Miguel es un luchador que ama los deportes como el volleyball y el fútbol.
