Hi, my name is Miguel Luciano, a.k.a. Miggie, and I’m a professional tattoo artist working out of The Inkwell 215 in Philadelphia. Many of you know me as @MIGGIE79 on Instagram — tattooing is not just my career, it’s my passion and my lifeline. Every line I draw, every client I meet, comes straight from the heart. I’m sharing this because I’ll be undergoing major heart surgery on Friday, August 1st, 2025. Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. It’s a serious procedure that requires me to take 1 to 3 months off from tattooing to recover and heal properly. Since I’m a subcontractor and work solely off of walk-ins and appointments, I don’t receive a paycheck, paid time off, or health benefits. No work means no income, while I still have to cover medical bills, rent, living expenses, and recovery costs. I’ve always been someone who hustles hard and keeps it moving—but right now, I need help.
