As some of you may know , our father Miguel Lopez passed on February 15, 2025. He had been battling a liver disease for 10 years. Through that time he was in and out of the hospital. A few years ago he began declining and as a family we prayed there would be a treatment that could help. Last year was his hardest year and two months ago we were given hope and he was sent out to Dallas to begin rigorous testing for the possibility of a liver transplant. After all the difficult tests, we were given the news that he was not a candidate for a liver transplant due to his organs being severely damaged. He made the decision to come back home to El Paso and spend his last days with his family. He was such an incredible father to my brothers and I, and an amazing husband to our Mother Mary.

We have been blessed with an incredible support system to get us through this difficult time.
