Support Miguel Chavez's Recovery Journey

Hello!
My name is Amor Valdovinos and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Miguel Chavez.
On August 12th, my brother suffered a fall while walking home that ended up shattering his arm and hand. He did have to have surgery on it and has been out of work for a couple of weeks now.
On September 11th, Miguel was put intubated
for toxic shock syndrome stemming from an infection that happened to the area that was operated on.
That day, the rehab center called his cell phone and let me know they had a bed available for him but
since he was in the hospital they would not be able to accept him.
I flew out to San Francisco with our younger sister on September 13th to make sure he was taken care of
and he fully awoke on September 14th.
I have been in touch with all the doctors that are taking care of him and with the social worker that is helping as well.
I explained to my brother that we are waiting for him to get better and once he is better we will
be transferring him to an inpatient rehab center and hopefully after that we will have him move out
to Las Vegas with us, so he can be closer to family and so that we may be able to continue his journey on getting better.
Every single cent is still accounted for in Miguel's account, and I upped our original goal due to the
fact that Miguel is just very sick and we are looking for all the help we can get.
I want to thank every single one of you who has helped on here, in person and through out this whole ordeal.
I know my brother is finally dedicated to getting clean and his family and friends are here to see him to it.
My brother is one of my best friends. He is a rare species, he is someone who will never judge you and will always stand by the ones he cares about. He is compassionate and being able to call him my brother is an honor. He is selfless, he is willing to go to extra lengths for the people he loves and he is a friend to all.
Please consider donating whatever you can, we know he is super grateful.
Thank you.
