Help Bring Hope to the Barrenechea Family

Our dear friend Miguel Barrenechea is forced to self deport back to Peru suddenly and unjustly leaving behind his entire family here in the United States.

Miguel is a devoted father, husband, and grandfather who has lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and community. He has two children and five grandchildren who depend on him deeply. This devastating deportation has torn apart a family that has spent decades building a life together here.

Now, Miguel faces the painful reality of starting over in a country he hasn’t lived in since a transitional aged youth, with limited resources and no immediate support network. His family here is doing everything they can, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Especially with his wife who is battling stage four cancer.

We’re raising funds to:

    •    Help cover relocation costs and basic needs for Miguel in Peru

    •    Support his family here in the U.S. as they navigate this heartbreaking separation

    •    Keep hope alive until they can be reunited again
