Help Us Finish Our MBA and Transform Lives in Angola
Donation protected
Hello friend,
We’re Miguel and Wuta Diavita, a married couple from Angola. Since we met, we’ve shared one dream: to use our knowledge, faith, and skills to create opportunities for others—and leave the world better than we found it.
This is not just our story. It’s a story about hope, responsibility, and a calling to serve others through leadership and business. We’re not trying to be the saviors of Angola—but we do want to be part of its healing, growth, and transformation.
Our Journey So Far: Building and Giving Back
In 2015, after our wedding, we founded Peang, Lda., an architecture and engineering firm in Luanda. We employed several professionals—an architect, civil and electrical engineers, and support staff—and created 12 jobs over the years. Every paycheck we issued meant food on the table for a family.
Later, we opened Nkundikila Pharmacy, hiring local pharmacists, security guards, and cleaners. Again, jobs were created. Lives were impacted.
But we wanted to do more than employ—we wanted to empower. That’s why we:
- Offered free architectural design services to build a local church
- Financially supported a second church construction
- Provided financial support to students at Agostinho Neto University
- Helped a young girl launch her first business with seed funding
These experiences were rewarding—but also humbling. We realized we lacked the strategic leadership and management skills to grow and sustain our work long-term.
Why We Came to the U.S.
To gain the tools we needed, we made a life-changing decision: we moved to the United States to pursue our MBAs in Management at Eastern Illinois University.
We sacrificed a lot for this journey. We closed our pharmacy. We paused our firm. We left our families. We sold possessions. Why? Because we believe leadership education is key to multiplying our impact. And it has been worth it.
We’ve learned to:
- Build high-performing organizations
- Lead with clarity and purpose
- Create strategic plans
- Manage finances responsibly
- Scale businesses that serve people
Our education is not about a title—it’s about preparation. We’ve grown in vision, character, and skill. We are now just one semester away from graduating.
The Challenge We’re Facing Now
Despite our hard work and progress, we are unable to register for our final semester due to serious financial hardship. And time is running out.
Here’s what we owe and what we need:
**Need** **Amount**
Miguel’s outstanding tuition-------------$23,002.11
Wuta’s outstanding tuition---------------$21,881.92
Last Semester tuition (Miguel)---------- $12,000
Last Semester tuition (Wuta)------------ $12,000
**TOTAL NEEDED**-------------------- $68,884.03**
Unless we pay this amount we will be forced to return to Angola without finishing our degrees.
That’s why we’re reaching out to you, humbly and transparently.

Our Plan After Graduation: Multiply the Impact
When we return to Angola, we will:

- Leadership development for youth and professionals
- Scholarships for university students
- Basic healthcare assistance for vulnerable communities
- Orphanage development to protect children
- Holistic community support for those most in need
We’re not asking for help so we can live comfortably—we’re asking for help so we can live purposefully. We want to contribute to real, lasting change in Angola. We want to be part of God’s work of restoration and hope.
