Paul Kantrowitz (July 10, 1933-March 26, 2024) was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, doctor, teacher, and mentor to many. He was also a proud alumni of Midwood High School in Brooklyn, where his love of science was nurtured.

The Midwood Math-Science Award is given to graduating seniors who have distinguished themselves in science or math over the course of their four years at Midwood.
