Support Micky Soward's Family During This Tragedy

Hi, my name is Trista. My husband, Jeremiah and I are fundraising for our dear brother-in-law, Micky Soward of Box Elder, SD.

On June 8th, Micky and his family gathered in Huron, SD to celebrate and send off the ashes of Micky’s mother, who passed in 2023.

During the celebration, Micky suffered a terrible crash on his high-speed electric skateboard. Upon arriving at the hospital in Huron, he was intubated and life-flighted to Sanford in Sioux Falls, SD. Micky has suffered a severe head injury and was placed in a medically induced coma.

Micky’s wife, Tiffany, his son, Kyler and daughter Letti have driven up to Sioux Falls to be by his side. This go-fund-me was created to help offset the major expenses the Soward’s are facing due to this tragedy. The doctors do not know how long Micky will be in a coma, or if he will be expected to make a full recovery.

The Soward family needs the financial support to allow them to stay in Sioux Falls with Micky during this tough time. Not only will they need the immediate financial support for their food and necessities while in Sioux Falls, Tiffany will not be able to work and earn an income to pay their mortgage and other living expenses for the time being. They will also be experiencing the stress of the medical expenses as doctors work hard to treat Micky.
