On her way home from the Oregon Country Fair, our dear friend Mickey experienced a medical event that led her to the local ER in Grand Junction upon her return.

They realized that she had suffered a heart attack which lead to open heart surgery and a triple bypass.

Right now, Mickey is recovering and unable to work, and that has made everyday expenses much harder to keep up with.

The funds from this fundraiser will help with Mickey's day-to-day living costs, including rent, utilities, and medical bills, while recovery continues. With her work on hold, this support would help ease some of the immediate financial pressure and give Mickey more room to focus on healing.

Mickey has always been there to help and support her friends, with her loving and generous spirit.

Being far away and not being able to physically help has been one of the hardest parts for me.

Since I can't be there in person the way I want to, I'm asking for help here instead.
