Support Mickey's Fight Against a Brain Tumor
Donation protected
My joyful, beautiful, creative and clever mother, Mickey, has worked in making a positive impact on her community for her whole life in Homewood-Flossmoor. As many of you know, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October. She has since completed 30 radiation treatments! She works hard in therapy 3 days a week.
My dad, Bob, her husband of 50 years has been an incredible rock of support and I’m humbled watching their love and marriage through this ordeal.
Mickey’s joy and eternal optimism is one of the things I admire about my mother. And the support of her family and close friends has been a sight to behold.
We are thankful for the treatment she has received at Northwestern and through the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. The expense of these treatments is posing an extremely difficult and nearly impossible financial burden on my parents.
My family and I are asking for any financial contribution you make be able to make at this time. Everything helps!
