Support Mickayla in her fight against cancer and lupus
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m reaching out for my cousin Mickayla, who is facing an incredibly difficult battle right now. Mickayla, a devoted mother of two and a beloved member of our community, has been diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She’s already started chemotherapy, but her journey has been further complicated by a diagnosis of lupus, which has led to stage 3 kidney disease.
Because of her kidney disease, Mickayla isn’t a candidate for radiation treatment, which could have helped her recover more quickly. As a result, she’s facing a much longer and harder road to recovery.
Mickayla is a single mom to two amazing kids, Ryland and Courtland. She’s always been a source of strength and support for others, serving as a dedicated officer for the Willis Sheriff's Department, where she worked tirelessly to serve her community and make a difference. She’s also a kind-hearted person who regularly fosters stray dogs and volunteers her time to help feed and clothe the homeless.
Despite all of this, right now Mickayla is struggling. The combination of her health battles, mounting medical bills, the loss of her job, and her responsibilities as a mother has left her with little energy or ability to care for herself, let alone provide for her family.
We are asking for your help. The funds raised will go directly to cover Mickayla’s medical bills, rent, and provide for her children’s food and daily needs during this challenging time. Every donation—no matter how small—will make a difference and help ease some of the burdens she’s carrying.
Mickayla has always given so much to others, and now it’s our turn to support her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any contribution you can make. Your generosity means the world to her and her family.
With gratitude,
Heather
