Hello, my name is Brooke and I help find strays/unhoused ppl with pets/abandoned pets, find fosters and rescue help. Mick here is 12 YEARS OLD and was abandoned by his owner and was going to be taken to a high kill shelter where he more then likely would’ve never made it out alive. Most people will not step up to foster a dog if there is no rescue support and this is exactly the reason why, Mick is a senior and has been to the vet four times in the small window he’s barely been with his foster. Mick landed an amazing foster, a kind lady with an open heart and space for Mick and said yes with open arms and has been supporting all of his needs solely by herself, which has completely added up being he’s a senior.

Her personal dog is now in the hospital and she’s nearly maxed out her care credit covering everything for Mick and doesn’t have enough now to attend to her own babies and one of her horses just passed away! I feel awful and want to help her!

She’s an amazing foster and deserves support and cannot take on these vet visits all by herself. I want to help by reimbursing her as she should have the support as a foster. Right now in Los Angeles fosters are very hard to come across, good ones especially! Rescues are at max capacity, not taking in and helping dogs like Mick where they were left abandoned, or you see posted as a stray. We don’t want him to loose his foster so please if you can spare $1, $5, $10, $20 to offset these costs so she can continue to foster Mick and most importantly be able to attend to her personal dogs. Mick still even needs to get neutered so please help if you can. Mick would really appreciate it. Thank you.
