My colleague Michel is from Haiti. He has immigrated here and is waiting for his family to be authorized to join him. However, his son is still in Haiti and is unfortunately quite ill. He has had kidney and heart issues and the root cause has been difficult to diagnose, despite multiple procedures.

His wife will be taking his ill son and 3 other children to a hospital outside of their region for an MRI and follow up care.

Michel and I are very grateful to everyone who donated the last time he was in need. This time he would like to ask for a loan and would like to repay everyone who is able to help him with expenses. He has received some financial support from myself and his community, and the remaining balance he is asking for is $3900. He can repay a few hundred dollars each week when he gets his paycheck from MGH, where he works as a cleaner.

This will go towards hiring a driver to transport his family, accommodations near the hospital for his family, an MRI, and follow up care.
