Hi, my name is Kendra Ross, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend, Michelle Ward.

Michelle was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which turned her world, and ours, upside down. It’s a macroadenoma, which is a large pituitary gland tumor. The tumor is continuously growing and will cause blindness and eventually death, if not removed.

We’ve been friends our whole lives (basically sisters). She is the kindest, funniest, and most empathetic person I know, and now she and her family need our help.

Michelle is facing an uphill battle, not only with her health but with the overwhelming financial burden of treatment including the surgery, post-operative care, medications, travel 8 hours (one way) just for her appointments/ follow-up appointments, and will also have to stay in a city 8 hours away from her home for a month while recovering from surgery.

No one should have to choose between their health and financial ruin. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward her medical expenses and bring us one step closer to giving her the care she desperately needs.
