Hello Everyone, my name is Josh Fowler. My siblings Justin, Jessica and I are starting this GoFundMe to honor our mother, Michelle Fowler, who has recently left this world.
Our mother, a dog groomer by trade, has been active in the rescue world our entire lives and has traveled all across America to save dogs that no one else wanted or had the time to help. If there was a dog in trouble, and it was within her means (and oftentimes even if it was not within her means) to help, she was there, fashionably late, ready to do anything she could, even if it meant taking them straight to her own house and figuring out the rest later. She currently has 15-20 dogs in her care that we are in the process of looking for placement.
Over the course of her life, she has rescued and found homes for thousands and thousands of unwanted dogs. She has given so many, including myself, and both of my siblings, the kind of unconditional love that only a dog can deliver. She has allowed so many dogs that nobody else thought deserved the time or love, a chance at a happy and healthy life and really did think you could save them all.
We watched many times as she personally sat with and nursed dogs that everyone else thought were too far gone, or dogs that nobody else thought anyone would ever want. She gave them a chance to be loved.
Dogs were her entire life, so in her honor, we would like to create this fund so she can go out doing what she loved. Helping fur babies find their forever homes. Some of these funds will be used to help cover the costs of her funeral, but everything remaining we intend to donate to different causes to help dogs in need.
