Hi everyone, as some of you might know, our mom was in a bad car accident on 11/20 while on her way from Idaho to California. Due to the severity of her injuries, location of the accident, and weather, she was life-flighted to Salt Lake City, Utah. She has many broken bones and has had to undergo several surgeries. After more than a week in the ICU, she thankfully was able to be moved to a step-down unit but remains in the trauma area due to the severity of her injuries. Her recovery will be a very long road and will require months of inpatient rehabilitation and/or a skilled nursing facility. Additional surgeries will be needed at a later time. Additionally, all friends and family are out of state so being able to be with her is very difficult. We are working with the Case Manager on recovery options, but they come with an expense due to health insurance being out of state.

We are trying to relieve her of some of the unforeseen medical expenses coming. Any contribution helps and is very appreciated. If you aren’t able to contribute at this time we understand and sharing this with friends and family would mean the world to us.
