Our fellow Northside Tiger, Michelle Tolan Mutina needs us.

Her baby sister Beverly had a medical emergency on Saturday December 20th. After being released from a nursing home/rehab center on Friday with Pneumonia and wound care, and she should not have been.

Saturday night her daughter Kaylen heard a loud noise that startled her from her sleep. She went into her mother’s room and found her on the floor not breathing and unresponsive. 911 helped Kaylen do CPR chest compressions to keep her heart going.

Beverly is now in ICU, intubated, heavily sedated and has been on a ventilator. They tried to bring her out of it and she has not responded.

As many of you know Michelle and Beverly have lost their Mom, their Brother and their Dad in the last few years. They are all they have left in their immediate family.

Michelle has faced so many medical challenges in recent years that it’s a miracle and God’s hand that has kept her here. Shes medically disabled and on a fixed income.

I pleaded with her to let me do a gofundme to help with finances to get her to Kansas to be with her sister. Her vehicle needs some maintenance as well as she needs help getting there and assistance in lodging, etc. Disability as many of you know is barely enough for living expenses. I set the goal high just so I don’t have to close this out so we can donate to her as needed.

She is unsure about what will happen to Beverly, but we know she needs to be there.

Please help my best friend get to her sister.
